Eris Drew Unleashes 70 Minutes Of Ecstatic Blissful Blends

Stop what you're doing, your soundtrack to the summer has just landed! Birthed by the Motherbeat - a philosophy which proclaims the healing power of music - Eris Drew ascended with an inclination to exude this doctrine across dance floors, viewing rave as "an archaic revival". This philosophy is the beating heart that unifies the genre bending Raving Disco Breaks Vol 1.

Comprised of vinyl records collected over her decades of digging, the mix feels like a true representation of the state of rave culture in the 90's, the era in which Eris found her musical calling. Joyful black voices emanate throughout, she scratches her records during transitions, and cuts back and forth between the same record, all with the finesse of a 90's hip hop turntablists. Eris also manages to seamlessly blend breaks, disco tinged house, broken beats and garage with quick changes between tracks to create an underlying defiant attitude and ecstatic energy that would compel even the meekest of ravers to strut, sashay and vogue their way to the nearest makeshift dance floor.

Although Eris Drew may have only recently found international success - she's already set to play at this year's Glastonbury and Dekmantel, has embarked on a pre-festival European tour and is signed to Portugal's Naive Records - her strong musical voice mirrors the many years she's spent orchestrating the sounds pounding out of Chicago's Smart Bar and Bunker NY. With the addition of starting a new record label, T4T LUV NRG, with her frequent b2b partner Octa Octa, we truly can not wait to see where the high priestess of the Motherbeat will guide the disciples of the dance floor.
